We'll start with Terran units for now... expect the other races
sometime later. The writer acknowledges that he had no idea what he was talking about when he wrote any of this. You should instead read his more intelligent games, computers, and guns blog.
Science Vessel |
Science Vessels' only purpose is to see
invisible people, like cloaked Ghosts and Wraiths, and Observers.
You need to get a couple of 'em anyway.

Cost: 100/225
Damage: 0
Armor: 1
Upgrades:
- Defensive Matrix (default ability, greatly increased defense of
targeted unit)
- EMP Shockwave (enables the EMP Shockwave ability, which takes
down all Protoss shields in its blast radius)
- Irradiate (enables the Irradiate ability, which gradually brings
down the targeted unit's hit points) |

Battlecruiser |
The Terran equivalent of Carriers, only not
quite as devastating. Still pretty scary, and it's very useful
when destroying bases. If you're going air, stop making Wraiths
and pump out some BCs.

Damage (Ground/Air): 25/25 Armor: 3
Upgrades:
- Yamato Gun (enables the Yamato Gun ability, which fires a
powerful blast at a targeted unit)
- Colossus Reactor (increase maximum energy) |
